Rising R&B star Arin Ray gave us more of his brand of seductive R&B late last year when he dropped his EP Phases III for the masses. With singles like "Wait So Long" and “Moonlight,” the set was a hit among his fans and got plenty of burn on the speakers here at SBHQ. The nine-song project has been light on the visuals, though, with only “Wait So Long” getting the official video treatment. That changes with the release of a new clip for his track “Good Evening.”
The video begins with some nature vibes as it opens with a beam of sun shining through trees. We then get a view of Arin au naturel as he appears on the balcony of a cabin sans shirt. While that is a sight to see, the video’s focus shifts quickly to the singer and his co-star as they get close while basking in the glow of love amid nature’s beauty. Day soon becomes dusk as the beat switches and our leading lady invites Arin to come inside and the camera pans away to a single apple on a tree.
The video, just like the song itself, is short and sweet. However, the romantic mood the clips sets has us planning our next getaway for two in somebody’s forest. Speaking of traveling, though, there are quite a few travel plans in Arin’s future as he’s set to embark on his Phases Tour starting next week with the opening date in Phoenix.
