The Endangered Are About More Than 'Dollars'

In case you haven't already heard, The Endangered make good music. The group's self-titled EP was released in May of last year with the lead single, "Calling on You." If that emotional ballad about overcoming heartbreak doesn't move something in you, I can't imagine much will. With the release of their video for "Dollars," they've given you another chance to get on board. The visual is driven by a young entrepreneur's quest to earn a dollar or two. I'm kind of a sucker for cute kids, especially ones on their grind. Rejected by his peers, but not defeated, lil' man gets a little encouragement from the band's lead singer, Maiya Sykes. To connect the storylines, the band performs in a school yard, at times with the kids bopping along. I was a little confused when they hopped into a car, seemingly going nowhere, but by the end of the video, you'll see that they do in fact reach their destination. The video is cute, but with lyrics like "young, fab and broke we've all been led astray/the world is in need of a change" don't miss the message. Press play and experience the band's thought provoking lyrics and satisfying sound.
