If you're anything like me, then you woke up this morning with a heavy heart and an overwhelming sense of frustration that Philando Castile had become the latest fatality at the hands of police. Also, if you're anything like me, then you found yourself struggling with finding the words to express it. Singer and newcomer MAJOR has not only managed to find the words but has also put them in musical form, delivering the first of what is sure to be many call-to-action anthems, "#ChangeRightNow."

For this powerful song, MAJOR calls on Amber Riley to help him deliver the message that we must put action to our cries for justice. "This is our response to the racial injustice happening across America in the free world," the duo said in a statement. "We want people to make this their anthem."

For his part, MAJOR's delivery is reminiscent of another powerful anthem, Common and John Legend's award-winning "Glory." Riley enters towards the end, providing a soul-stirring compliment to MAJOR's vocals. Produced by Harmony Samuels, "#ChangeRightNow" also features an excerpt of a speech President Barack Obama gave commemorating the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday.

As we continue to search for answers and solutions on how to counteract the injustices that are occurring far too regularly, music and songs like this serve as a catharsis for the pain.
