After taking a break in 2015, BET's Celebration of Gospel returns in a major way for 2016 with its first-run broadcast to take place on Sunday, January 31st. Live music lovers can always count on the COG for some of the best performances you'll see anywhere on TV, and this year will be no exception with gospel greats and soul/R&B favorites taking the stage together for once-in-a-lifetime moments. One of those moments that we're really looking forward to on Celebration of Gospel 2016 is the joining together of Shirley Caesar and Anthony Hamilton on the first-ever live performance of their new duet "It's Alright, It's OK."

The reigning Queen of Gospel and the current King of Soul have come together in harmonious praise to minister to anyone who needs encouragement to look beyond their circumstances and to keep moving toward victory on "It's Alright, It's OK." Atop a Hammond organ, steady drum beat and guitar twang, a choir of background singers chime in to kick things off with the chorus, "It's alright, it's OK / Don't you let your troubles get in your way / Just believe and have faith / Know that He is with you everyday." Pastor Caesar then sets the praise party off on the first verse singing an all too familiar scenario and encouraging faith in the valley. The catchy chorus comes back in and segues into Hamilton's uplifting verse enhanced by his soulful tenor. Shirley Caesar and Anthony Hamilton sound superb together on "It's Alright, It's OK," and by the time it's over you'll be singing along and convinced that everything will in fact be alright and be OK.

Listen to Shirley Caesar and Anthony Hamilton make a joyful noise on "It's Alright, It's OK" right here, and get on the good foot to Amazon or iTunes right now to purchase this new gospel classic in advance of new albums to be released by both artists this year. See this song come to life on Celebration of Gospel 2016 on BET at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Sunday, January 31st.
