Leon-Bridges-SNL

The latest installment of Saturday Night Live got a treat in the form of Southern soul with a touch of blues and country when singer Leon Bridges stopped by the show to perform a couple tracks. To show just how versatile he can be, the Bounce-Worthy Leon and his band hit the stage to perform the deep track "River" and later the feet-tappin' "Smooth Sailin'." Both tracks from his latest album, Coming Home, had the audience captivated as they watched Leon rule the stage, and got a blast from the past with his old school delivery. Whether he was harmonizing with his background singer, strumming on his guitar during "River" or showing us his best footwork during "Smooth Sailin'," he performed both tracks with the same timeless energy. The Ryan Gosling-hosted episode served as Leon's second big TV performance since his appearance with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis at the American Music Awards a few weeks ago
