Christmas may be just one short week away, but don’t finalize your holiday playlist just yet. Artists, both new and old, are still putting in their bid for their spot on the soundtrack to your tree trimming and fireside cider sipping. Brayton Bowman is one of the many SoulBounce faves in that number, and he’s taking on Stevie Wonder’s classic holiday hit “Someday At Christmas” as he tries to get your bells jingling.

With the help of his brilliant boyfriend MNEK on production, Brayton breathes new life into those powerful words that Stevie first sang back in 1967. This warm wintery remake focuses mainly on vocals and while Brayton sings lead, he gets a bit of background help from MNEK, Becky Hill and Ryan Ashley. These four vocalists manage to blend into a beautiful heavenly choir and give this rendition a bit of a 1994 Mariah Carey Merry Christmas feel. Needless to say, our boy Brayton did well by this holiday classic, and we look forward to more music from him in the new year.
