A-Trak & Jamie Lidell Don't Let Us 'Down' In Jarreau Vandal Remix

Jamie-Lidell-A-Trak-All-Fall-Down

Canadian DJ/producer A-Trak and Jamie Lidell recently collaborated on the remix for "We All Fall Down" and turn our headphones into an aural party. A-Trak personally reached out to Jamie to participate in the remix and invited Soulection regular Jarreau Vandal to add his unique twist to the single. The song is a part of A-Trak's creative five-track EP of basically the same song remixed until it can't be remixed anymore. On this version, Lidell adds his own layer of funk on the track with his powerful vocals, taking it to new heights. Vandal makes sure it's a club-happy track that melds house and soul with enough keys and synths to keep your fist pump going. If electro soul is your thing, then this track is for you, giving you an almost four-minute personal party until you decide to press play again.

A-Trak also engaged other artists and producers he regularly plays in his sets, including house singer CID and duo Volt & State. The remix EP actually ends with Lidell again on "Jamie's Version." NPR recently premiered Lidell’s remix, which is the opposite of Vandal's party anthem with just a little extra helping of soul, successfully capping off the EP. You can listen to the other remixes on A-Trak's SoundCloud and see if they pique your interest.
