Do You 'Luh God' As Much As Erica Campbell & Big Shiz?

This week, gospel songstress and reality TV star Erica Campbell released the reissue of her GRAMMY Award-winning album Help, now aptly titled Help 2.0. Complete with a few refixes, the album also has a new addition in the trap-laced single "I Luh God." Featuring LaShawn Daniels aka Big Shiz (who's written for the likes of Brandy, Beyoncé and Michael Jackson), the track is a departure from Erica and Mary Mary's traditional yet contemporary sound. The track follows the same formula as the music we've grown accustomed to on our airwaves, but "I Luh God" is equipped with clean and holy lyrics you can anoint your playlist with. "I luh God / you don’t luh God? / What’s wrong with you?" raps Erica but it's not a bonafide party until Big Shiz ushers in the chorus when he repeatedly hollers "I luh him! I luh him!" Since Erica has been going on promotional tours, you can actually catch her singing and getting down to her own track in this video.

Whether you like this trill side of Erica or not, you can keep calm and get your praise on at the two-minute mark when the songstress takes it back to her gospel comfort zone to sing a sweet bridge with hubby Warryn Campbell providing background vocals. At first listen the single can be confusing because it does not align with Erica's brand. Once you give the track a few more listens, like most trap singles, it gets stuck in your head and hypnotizes you with thoughts about God. We see what they're trying to do here. You can go ahead and crank this gospel joint for your Easter weekend and just for good measure, you can purchase"I Luh God" and Help 2.0 on iTunes. Do you luh Erica's new track or nah?
