Snoop Dogg Serves Up His Colorful Side For 'Peaches N Cream'

Snoop Dogg Peaches N Cream Still

While many artists have made appearances on Empire, it's safe to say that not many capitalized on the opportunity like Snoop Dogg. While everyone was picking their jaws off the floor from the twists and turns, Snoop was on Twitter dropping gems about his upcoming album, BUSH — including the world premiere of his new video for the single "Peaches N Cream."

Although it might have been easy to lose the tweet about the video in all the drama that was going down on the show, anybody who got a chance to click the link was treated to one of Snoop's most slickly-produced videos to date. It takes place in a neon candy-colored galaxy filled with fine, Afro-rocking ladies, Egyptian monuments, Charlie Wilson, Pharrell Williams and, of course, peaches exploding with cream (pause). Despite all the eye-popping elements, Snoop retains his calm, cool, collected (and lifted) demeanor as he spits game over Pharrell's laid-back '80s production. Sure the graphics and minimal sets included here scream "budget video" (and nobody asked Snoop that we wanted to see him shirtless and getting felt up by mystery hands), but it still comes together pretty much seamlessly without harshing the song's mellow groove.

Check out the Technicolor clip below, and be sure to look out for BUSH, which is set to hit stores on May 12th.
