Jodeci & B.o.B Take A Stand Against Domestic Violence With 'Nobody Wins'

Jodeci Soul Train Awards Red Carpet

While 2014 has been a year of many hot button issues, one that definitely had a much deserved moment in the spotlight was domestic violence. Brought back into the public consciousness after the despicable elevator incident between footballer Ray Rice and his then-fiancée and now-wife, the issue is a constant in our society that doesn't seem to be going away.

Helping to bring much needed awareness to the cause are comeback kids Jodeci. They take on the issue with their new single and lyric video for "Nobody Wins." The song, which the group debuted with B.o.B. on this year's Soul Train Awards, addresses the bad side of arguments between lovers, making it a point to let listeners know that there are no winners when affairs of the heart turn violent. The lyric video takes things a step further with the lyrics flashing across the screen in red as scenes of arguments and abuse play out in black and white in the background.

While seeing these scenes are without a doubt disturbing, the fellas also supply hope by including a website (idvaac.org) and a hotline number (1-800-799-SAFE) for victims of domestic violence to use if they need help getting out of a dangerous situation. Check out the lyric video below and if you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence, please use the information provided to seek help.
