If you need a little shot of something to perk up your day then look no further than "Whisky," the debut single from Philadelphian duo Marian Hill. Producer Jeremy Lloyd and vocalist Samantha Gongol have crafted a bluesy slice of donwtempo R&B, with hard-hitting drums and woozy, angelic vocals that beg for repeated spins. There isn't much information on the web about the duo, and we don't know if "Whiskey" is the precursor to a full LP, but based on this track we are hoping that there is more in the pipeline. To sweeten the deal further the track is available for the price of an email address, which is a bargain if you ask us.
