Marsha Ambrosius Wants To Hit 'It' One Last Time Before It's 'Over'

For Marsha Ambrosius, subtlety is out of the window in "F--k and Get it Over With," the first listen from her sophomore album, Friends & Lovers, set for release more than likely in 2013. Never one to censor herself, Marsha lets her lover know that even though they have a long history together, it's not gonna work out between them and nothing says "peace out" better than some goodbye sex for the road. We've heard snatches of the song in videos of live performances over the past few months since Marsha made her new album announcement, but now we get the whole shebang as well as a music video for the explicit little ditty. In the clip directed by Erica D. Hayes and J. Erving, the primary focus is Marsha singing in various settings -- from her bedroom where she's laying out her outfit for the night's sextivities to her car as she drives to her soon-to-be-ex's house. It's once she arrives at their crib that we see that her boo isn't exactly who we may have expected. I don't know what Marsha is trying to tell us with this ending, but it is quite coincidental for this video to have been released on National Coming Out Day.
