See What 'God Said' To Anthony David

Premiering this week in the most unlikely of places on 106 & Park Bench, Anthony David let the visuals loose for his new single "God Said." Described as "a satirical strike at religious zealots and extremists," it's far from a laughing matter. Starting off with televangelist Pat Robertson explaining the devil's curse on Haiti and seguing into footage of the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake, the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and other assorted images of natural disasters, war, and human suffering, "God Said" is not for the faint of heart. This is heavy stuff to look at and coupled with the song's lyrics, it takes direct aim at religion and the fundamentalist beliefs of many. Anthony David has made quite a powerful statement.
