Chlöe and Timbaland may have dropped their mixtape RESURRECTION on Juneteenth, but the joint has been delivering fire moments all summer long. Now that we’re in the last official calendar days of the season, Chlöe is giving us one more taste with a visual for the project’s standout “World On Fire” that also puts her dance skills on full display.
Famed choreographer Fullout Cortland gives the singer and her dancers the moves for the clip and sits in the director’s chair, and boy does he deliver. They go hard from the start with tight moves that fit the beat and illustrate the song’s lyrics with intensity. However, while the moves are the main focus, Chlöe still makes sure to showcase her performance skills with dramatics, a set piece that showcases her beat-making and flexibility and eye-catching looks that combine athleticism, beauty and sexiness. It’s another stunning visual from the mixtape and another reason why RESURRECTION should be in your rotation.
We’ve now received visuals for six of the tracks from RESURRECTION. Personally, we wouldn’t be mad if Chlöe decided to make a video for all 13 of the songs on the set. While we petition the singer to make it so, watch her break out the moves when you watch “World On Fire” right here.
