Otis Kane has been quite prolific this year. In the first six months of 2026, he released the original singles “Let Me Love You” and “Heaven” and a cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic “Move On Up” with producer/DJ Jafunk for Black Music Month. Now that we’re in the second half of the year, he’s not easing up. However, he is choosing to revisit his 2025 EP Love Is Alive with a music video for the single “Whatever You Like.”
The sweet and groovy love song gets an equally romantic visual. We join Otis as he’s leaving the barber with a fresh cut. Preoccupied with something on his phone, he bumps into a cutie walking down the street. They’re both instantly smitten and can’t stop smiling at each other. They exchange some small talk and go their separate ways. They then reconnect via phone before they link up for a date. They spend more time together, and the next thing you know, they’re getting engaged.
Or at least that’s what Otis fantasizes in the moments following their meeting. After letting her walk off, he comes to his senses and stops her before she gets too far away. They pick up their conversation and end up talking and walking down the street. The video then flashes forward to Kane and his cutie at home and the now parents-to-be sharing a tender moment.
Love is alive in Otis Kane’s “Whatever You Like” video. It’s definitely for all the hopeless and hopeful romantics out there. Kane and the cutie played Ashley A. Williams have great chemistry together, and the plot twists make this quite enjoyable to watch.
