FLO is just over a week away from the release of their sophomore album Therapy At The Club, and the trio is showing no signs of taking their feet off of our necks. Just last week, they dropped off the set’s fourth single “Remedied,” a sassy track that continues the album’s theme of finding solace in a night out with your girls. To follow that up, the ladies are now live and in living color in the song’s music video.
The clip begins with FLO’s Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas and Renée Downer assembling what looks to be a scrapbook of their plans to help themselves get out of their feelings and into a better headspace. It’s a process that leads them to take several options. They first wind up at a plastic surgeon’s office in the hopes that a nip and tuck or shot of Botox might pretty up their mood. However, after some creepy realizations, the ladies high-tail it out of there to the next location.
That location happens to be a gym where they get their spin on under the watchful eye of a flamboyant instructor. The gals boost their heart rates in their attire that is more suitable for the club (including spiky high heels that just wouldn’t work in real life). The group works it out anyway, tough, and even gives us a tight dance break that takes it all the way down to the floor.
They head to one more space for the song’s rap verse as they seek advice from a psychic. The ladies pose around a crystal ball to see their futures, which looks to predict many more wild and crazy moments to come. But rather than dwell on that, Jorja, Renée and Stella undergo a hair and outfit change to strut their stuff on the streets with the attitude and fierceness that we’ve come to expect from them.
