Chlöe and Timbaland definitely did the damn thing with their joint mixtape Resurrection, as many keep coming back to the set to select their favorites. They’ve also been pretty serious about the promotion of the set, with Chlöe making the press rounds to talk about the project in addition to her new movie Strung, currently streaming on Peacock. The duo has also been dropping videos of some of the set’s best cuts to keep the momentum going, with short-but-sweet clips for “Talking Dirty” and “Better Than She Can” teasing our eyes. The tease continues with a brand new visual for their track “Priorities.”
Perhaps one of the more pop-leaning cuts on Resurrection, Chlöe lets a beau know that she has to keep her priorities at the front of her mind regardless of how much he wants her to let loose. Fittingly, the clip features her solo in a simple, almost sterile environment. And while that and the shiny, tight lamé gown she wears represent her restrictive nature, the multicolored flashing lights throughout the video could represent her need to let go and have a little fun. It’s a tense duality that’s presented quite well in the visual’s short runtime.
While we are loving that Chlöe and Timbaland seem intent on giving us more than a few videos from Resurrection (and we hope that “Main Attraction” is next), we must say that we want a bit more than a minute to get lost in the visual world of the mixtape. Here’s hoping that they might have extended versions of these clips or perhaps a visual mixtape ready to go at a later date.
