Chlöe & Timbaland Break Us Off With A Little ‘On Your Own’

Chlöe and Timbaland dropping a banging mixtape wasn’t on our bingo card for 2026, yet here we are. We’ve been jammin’ non-stop to Resurrection since its Juneteenth release, and the collaborators have kept the project top of mind with a steady flow of videos. They’ve dropped visuals for “Talking Dirty,” “Better Than She Can” and “Priorities” leading up to their latest, a clip for “On Your Own.”

The track is very Aaliyah-coded and sounds like vintage ’90s Timbaland. Though he’s absent from the video, Chlöe holds it down on the solo tip, just like she did in “Priorities.” Directors Andrew Makadsi and Derek Milton, who’ve been behind the camera for all of Resurrection’s visuals thus far, are back with another creative capture focused on our girl. This time around, she’s spotted chilling in her living room on a black leather couch. She’s singing into a retro brick cell phone and doing some of her best yearning for the person on the other end and into the camera.

Like previous Resurrection clips, the runtime for “On Your Own” is shorter than the song itself and ends a little abruptly, leaving the viewer yearning more. However, with the frequency and staggered release of these videos, we wouldn’t be surprised (or mad) if Chlöe and Timbaland have planned a visual mixtape to complement the audio. They definitely have us hooked — with their music and these visuals — and we need them to keep ’em coming.
