PJ Morton’s Saturday Night, Sunday Morning Tour doesn’t kick off until July, but he’s already been popping up in select cities since late May. Though he’s not performing at these pop-up appearances, PJ has been having meet-and-greets with fans and selling merch, including physical copies of his new double album Saturday Night, Sunday Morning before its upcoming digital release. He was recently in Chicago on his pre-release run and decided to take a walk around downtown and film it in a brand-new visualizer for SNSM’s lead single “Mutual.”
We join Morton as he strolls on a bridge across the Chicago River and walks along the Riverwalk. He passes by landmarks like the House of Blues Chicago, skyscrapers, restaurants and plenty of curious onlookers, some of whom may have recognized him from Maroon 5. PJ is moving with a mission, and he definitely got his steps in on this beautiful sunny day.

PJ Morton’s 18-track Saturday Night, Sunday Morning will be released as a double album on Friday, June 19th. He is so eager to get his new music out into the world, though, that he’s decided to drop the project as two separate albums in the days leading up to Juneteenth.
The R&B/soul soul set Saturday Night is going to be available on Tuesday, June 16th, and the gospel LP Sunday Morning will arrive on Thursday, June 18th.
