Masego is on some new stuff. The multitalented artist is rocking a new look, teasing new music from his new album and planning a new world tour. Uncle Sego has been active on social media recently, debuting a fresh fade in a dramatic departure from his signature hairstyle and previewing unreleased tracks in a series of vignettes. This is all part of the creative rollout for his third LP entitled Fix Your Face. And since you can’t drop an album without a tour to support it, he’s announced a full slate of international dates on his Fix Your Face Tour.
“This is not a drill!!! I am leaving the comfort of my home and coming city to city. You gon’ pull up on me or what?” Masego wrote on Instagram in the caption for the flyer (seen below), which lists all of his tour dates on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Fix Your Face Tour begins stateside on August 4th in Dallas before hitting major markets coast to coast. Included on the route are Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Raleigh, Philadelphia, D.C., NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Denver, Oakland and Phoenix. The North American leg will conclude with a concert in Los Angeles on September 16th.
Masego will then repack his bags and pick up the tour in Europe on September 28th in Milan. He’ll keep it moving and grooving across the continent to Zurich, Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels. The tour will wrap in the UK, with the final shows scheduled in Bristol, Manchester and London, where the tour ends on October 18th.
Altogether, Masego will touch down in 40 cities on the Fix Your Face Tour, and he’s going to put on quite a show as he’s known to do. Between Sego performing selections from his catalog, breaking fans off with some new-new from Fix Your Face and playing the saxophone, it’s going to be a total vibe.
Though Masego hasn’t indicated when we’ll be able to get our hands on Fix Your Face, he’s not keeping us in the dark about tickets to the Fix Your Face Tour. Sign up for access to the ticket pre-sale, which begins on Tuesday, June 9th at 10 a.m. local time, on Masego’s website or text him at 757-979-6474 to receive an exclusive code. If you need to wait until payday for that direct deposit to hit, it’s all good because general ticket sales go live on Friday, June 12th at 10 a.m. local time.
