Joyce Wrice has kept us intrigued throughout the year by teasing us with new singles. She kicked things off in January with her Amerie-sampling jam “Break Me In.” She then kept things sweet and with her follow-up, the romantic ballad “Crack The Code.” Now, after raising our pressure with the video for “Break Me In,” she breaks us off with the visual for “Crack The Code.”
Joyce gives us a peek into a world where she’s a corporate baddie. She’s got more than business acumen going on for her, though. She’s sporting a sophisticated look with thick-framed black glasses and a chocolate brown suit with a skirt that shows off a little leg. It’s the perfect outfit to get the attention of her office crush, a bespectacled cutie with a low-cut Caesar and dreamy eyes that can’t stop looking her way.
The sentiment is mutual for our girl, but she plays it cool at first while opting to steal longing glances across the conference room table and when exchanging ideas over lunch. However, as the video progresses, her nonchalant façade quickly breaks after a few choice moments and smiles exchanged while making copies at the printer. The clip ends when the two of them finally get some alone time in the elevator at the close of business, as they finally go in for a much-anticipated kiss.
