Chlöe and Timbaland’s collaborative mixtape Resurrection truly jams. Cuts like “Talking Dirty” and “Better Than She Can” are certified bangers that are in heavy rotation around these parts. The dynamic duo has provided us with a brief visual for “Talking Dirty,” and they do it once again with a clip for “Better Than She Can.”
The track is an ’80s-inspired groove that has plenty of bite. The clip matches the song’s energy by showcasing the two vibing as Tim creates the song on an MPC. It prompts Chlöe to pick up a mic and perform around their improvised set.
And perform she does. As her brown-and-blonde pigtails cascade down her back, she steps onto a makeshift stage to move and vamp with an assertive vigor. Timbaland, meanwhile, is content with playing the background as the singer dances circles around him while rocking to the beat.
The only issue that we have with the visual is that, like “Talking Dirty,” it’s just way too short. The song itself runs at nearly three minutes, but the visual clocks in at a paltry 55 seconds. Why are Chlöe and Timbaland teasing us like this? We have no idea. But then again, it’s not a bad thing to leave the crowd wanting to see more.
