Naomi Sharon previously got our heart rates up on the dance floor with her single “Miss That” and its Marten Lou remix, but now she’s giving us a cool down with her latest record. The singer-songwriter switches tempos and moods on “Better Days.”

Like “Miss That,” the chilled-out track is co-written by Sharon and Blush with Majid Jordan member Jordan Ullman returning on production alongside Alex Lustig, another previous collaborator. With her dream team in place, she gets contemplative about a complicated relationship.

Naomi starts “Better Days” in her head and is feeling some type of way. “Overthinking conversations that I’m having in my head / Wondering if I should just lay here and put it all to bed / My imagination, it runs away with my common sense / Every word unspoken is still something that I shoulda said,” she ruminates on the first verse.

She’s unhappy with where things stand between them, but she holds on to hope in the chorus. “It’s not the place I wanna be / These aren’t the thoughts I wanna think / If these are the cards I gotta play / I’ll pray and wait for better days,” Sharon sings.

“Better Days” arrived with a visualizer showing the singer getting her lipstick applied by an off-camera MUA in a continuous loop. It’s not the most exciting clip, but Naomi Sharon is stunning to look at regardless.

The platform 66 Greene also dropped a live performance video of the song recorded in their NYC studio. Sharon is backlit on a darkened set, so her face, features and ’fit are completely in shadow and not visible as she performs. The unique lighting focuses attention on Naomi’s vocals, body and movements and is an unexpected twist to the typical performance visual.

Naomi Sharon hasn’t shared when the new project she’s been cooking up is coming, but something is definitely on the way. While we wait to find out what it is and when it’s dropping, Naomi is getting ready to support Doja Cat on the EU and UK leg of her Tour Mavie World Tour 2026, starting on May 19th through June 19th.
