Jorja Smith kicks off her next chapter by kicking her man to the curb in her new single “What’s Done Is Done.” The British beauty drops a bomb on the dance floor to let him know that she’s reclaiming her time and moving on with her love.

Producer P2J lays the foundation with synths, a booming low end and electronic elements aplenty. On top of that upbeat garage sound bed, Jorja rides the rhythm with her signature vocal flair as she lays into her soon-to-be ex.

Smith has a litany of questions for him in the first verse. “Do you think about me? / Do you know it hurt me? / Will it matter when I tell you what I’ve done? / You think you got it? / Don’t mind what I say / Was it worth it all the times? / Were you tired of being someone else?” she sings, but she’s not waiting around for answers. She’s already made up her mind to bounce and makes that clear on the chorus, singing, “It’s the ending / Should have never let this run / It’s the ending / Cus you know what’s done is done.”

Jorja gets the breakup bash jumping in the music video. Director KC Locke captures the songstress arriving at a function and having a time with her real-life friends, family and musical collaborators. Her community showed up for her and everyone showed out, bringing the celebratory vibes to the party atmosphere seen throughout the visual to complement her solo scenes.

Jorja Smith might be dropping a man, but she’s caught a vibe on “What’s Done Is Done.” The new single sets a new era in motion for the singer who has already had a busy 2026. Earlier this year, she celebrated the tenth anniversary of “Blue Lights” by releasing a remix featuring Havoc and the previously unreleased track “Don’t Leave,” collaborated with Wesley Joseph on his single “July” and contributed the cinematic song “Price Of It All” to the soundtrack of the Riz Ahmed-starring Prime Video series Bait.
