The weather is getting warmer, which means that it’s time to get outside, and there’s no better place to be outside than at a music festival. One that definitely needs to be on your radar is the 2026 Richmond Jazz And Music Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th, the annual festival in Richmond, Virginia will return to Maymont for a jam-packed weekend featuring live performances by artists across a few genres.

Headlining the festival will be the High Priestess of Neo-Soul Erykah Badu. She is one of several R&B and soul artists on the lineup, including Johnny Gill, Leon Thomas, Alex Isley, Tiana Major9 and the Tony! Toni! Toné! legacy band.

Rappers Doug E. Fresh, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco and Noname will be on tap to rock the mic and represent for hip-hop. Also on the bill are the groups The Blackbyrds, Free Nationals and Hot Like Mars, who are all known to dabble in multiple genres.
