Usher and Chris Brown broke the Internet this past New Music Friday, but it wasn’t with new music. Though Breezy did drop his latest single “Obvious,” the release was almost overshadowed by the major news that the pair would be combining their many talents on The R&B Tour. They rolled out a splashy teaser video featuring both superstars on social media and shared the tour name without any additional details. Fans have been speculating and debating the particulars, and now we finally have more information about the co-headlining tour, with an official announcement and the complete schedule.
The R&B Tour cleverly derives its title from the artists’ surnames and is a nod to the genre that they’ve both dominated for over three decades. Usher and Chris have collaborated on music before, but this will be their first time touring together, and it promises to be a historic, culture-defining moment.
These talents have owned the past two years on their respective sold-out tours — Usher’s PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour in 2024 and Chris’ BREEZY BOWL XX WORLD TOUR in 2025. Now, Raymond & Brown have their sights set on owning 2026 on this 33-date, 26-city stadium tour across North America.
The massive outing will run throughout the summer and fall, kicking off on June 26th in Denver. Subsequent cities include Minneapolis, Cleveland, Charlotte, St. Louis, Nashville, Birmingham, Syracuse, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Glendale, El Paso, San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans and Miami, which are all on the schedule for single shows. Cities with two dates on the roster are Detroit, D.C./Landover, East Rutherford, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Atlanta. The tour is slated to end on December 11th in Tampa. We notice some room on the schedule for more dates and cities to be added, so don’t be surprised if this tour grows in size.
The R&B Tour is produced by Live Nation in partnership with veteran recording industry executive Mark Pitts and his latest new Cofvnders, a multimedia management company. The tour will also be a party with a purpose. Organizers have partnered with the Global Citizen organization to donate $1 from every ticket sold to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
