Otis Kane is one of those artists who never seems to stop creating. The indie R&B singer-songwriter released both an album (Violet) and an EP (Love Is Alive) in 2025. Even with all that output, Otis isn’t slowing down. Earlier in the year, he dropped his single “Let Me Love You,” and he’s already back with more on his latest single “Heaven.”
“Heaven” finds Otis delighting in the love that he’s found. He sings of the certainty he feels when wrapped in his lover’s arms. He also expresses that, though life changes, he knows that love will always be there for him. “Heaven is a place on earth / Heaven is in your arms,” he sings on the chorus. “Baby, we can make it work / We’ll always find our love, babe.”
And, of course, with a title like “Heaven,” things have to sound heavenly. Otis achieves this with a warm, soulful sound bed that utilizes rhythm guitar, synths and drums that channel ’70s era R&B with a modern sheen. That, coupled with a John Legend-esque verve, makes the song a sweet and enjoyable listen that bears repeating.
Given his track record, “Heaven” might be the latest from Otis Kane, but we highly doubt that it will be the last that we hear from the performer before 2026 is up. While we keep our eyes and ears out for more, allow Otis to take you there when you press play.
