It’s likely that you can’t turn on the radio, listen to a playlist or give an album a spin without hearing “Welcome to the Camp!” in the first few seconds of a song. That tag belongs to in-demand producer Camper (formerly known as DJ Camper), who’s had R&B on lock for the past few years. After working with a who’s who of artists on their music and projects, Camper has invited a few to contribute their time and talents to his debut album CAMPILATION. Scheduled for release later this month, the hitmaker unveils the set’s tracklist and stacked roster of guests.
Camper has pulled in a couple of icons to lend their legendary voices to CAMPILATION: Stevie Wonder and Brandy. Wonder will be heard on the track “Love Me,” while Brandy’s vocals will be all over the song “Back And Forth.”
Elsewhere, Camper has tunes featuring GRAMMY winners Lucky Daye (“Tonight”) and Victoria Monét (“Love You”), the talented quartet of brothers Wan Mor (“Come Over”), songstresses Alex Isley and Rose Gold (“Sixteen Summers”) and frequent collaborators Arin Ray and Terrace Martin (“Speak To Me”).
Also included among the album’s 11 tracks are the four singles that Camper started dropping in 2024 to whet fans’ appetites. We’ll get Syd and Tank’s “I Need It,” Jeremih and Ari Lennox’s “War,” Tone Stith’s “Waiting On You” and the Ty Dolla $ign and Jill Scott collab “OOWEE.”
“Thank you to every artist for making this special. Can’t wait to share with the world,” Camper wrote on Instagram in a caption accompanying the complete tracklist, which you can view below. He can’t wait to share it, and we can’t wait to hear it!
Camper’s CAMPILATION is set to drop on Friday, January 23rd and can be pre-saved/pre-added on digital music platforms now.
