Life is looking lovely for the ladies of FLO. The British trio snagged their first GRAMMY nomination in the category of Best Progressive R&B Album for their stellar 2024 debut Access All Areas. While they wait to see how they fare at the 2026 GRAMMYs, the group is shining a spotlight back on the album with the release of an expanded deluxe edition of Access All Areas: Unlocked with the new single “Recently Deleted.”
FLO originally surprise-dropped Access All Areas: Unlocked a week after they debuted Access All Areas last November. Dubbed a “mini-deluxe,” the Unlocked version featured four star-studded remixes and a live recording from their Vevo Live performance. This newly released version of Unlocked adds four more tracks into the mix.
There’s “Recently Deleted” with the girls singing about an ex whose head — and smartphone — they’re living in rent-free and the bonus cuts “Do Too Much,” “Say Less” and “Conceited” that were included as exclusives on the Access All Areas compact disc. The Bobby Caldwell-sampling catchy bop “Do Too Much” is a soul-sonic treat.
FLO’s Renée Downer, Jorja Douglas and Stella Quaresma offered their new single as a thanks to FLOlifers for riding with them. “Releasing ‘Recently Deleted’ felt like the perfect gift to our fans — a way to say thank you for all the incredible love and support they’ve given us this year,” the trio said in a press statement. “This song is a passionate R&B moment; it’s quintessential FLO, but with a more grown narrative. We hope the fans will be screaming, crying and feeling all the feels to the lyrics.”
With the inclusion of these four tracks, Access All Areas: Unlocked now sounds like a proper deluxe edition and has returned FLO’s debut into rotation while fans await their next music moves.
