Tyla has expensive tastes. And though the international superstar can afford a luxurious lifestyle, she needs a man who can provide her with the finer things in life like her favorite designer pieces. She’s not shy about letting her love interest know that the way to her heart is with “CHANEL” on her current single.

The up-tempo number produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and P2J has all the hallmarks of Tyla’s typical sound, blending Amapiano, R&B and pop into an irresistible concoction. She has the uncanny knack of creating songs that get stuck in your head, and she does it again with “CHANEL” thanks to its infectious refrain.

“How you say you love me? / You ain’t put me in Chanel,” Tyla repeatedly questions her suitor throughout the track. She makes it clear to him that her love language is the luxury design house and that he better come correct and stop wasting her time. Tyla keeps it light, but she’s no fool when she lets him know, “Stop tryna read my mind / I’m not her and she’s not me / And you’re not mine.”

Although this dude can’t open his wallet or make up his mind, Tyla chooses herself and stars in two visuals released with “CHANEL” — a lyric video and the official music video. Of course, the songstress is dripping in Chanel in both clips, whether she’s striking a pose or prancing around in various stylish ’fits and different wigs.

The release of “CHANEL” follows Tyla’s summertime EP WWP and precedes her highly anticipated sophomore album. Before that project arrives next year, the South African sensation ends this year on a high note after recently being named one of Glamour’s 2025 Women Of The Year.
