New Edition was recently celebrated in their hometown of Boston with a street named in their honor. Located in their old Roxbury neighborhood, the newly christened New Edition Way is a source of pride for original group members Ralph Tresvant, Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins and even D.C. native Johnny Gill. The fellas are so proud of this accolade that they decided to name their upcoming concert tour The New Edition Way Tour 2026, and they invited fellow icons Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton to join them.
This epic tour will mark the first time that NE and BIIM will share the stage. Making this historic link-up even more legendary is the fact that Mike Bivins discovered Boyz II Men and set Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris and Michael McCary on the path to superstardom. Shawn, Wan and Nate will perform hits from their multi-platinum catalog, as will Toni Braxton who’ll also bring her feminine energy, fetching beauty and fierce style to the mic.
The 30-date arena tour is scheduled to kick things off in Oakland on January 28th before heading across the United States. Subsequent cities on the itinerary include Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Baltimore on Valentine’s Day, Detroit, Cleveland, Hampton, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Atlanta. After traveling coast to coast from winter into spring, the tour is set to end in Houston on April 4th.
The New Edition Way Tour 2026 is NE’s first tour since starting their New Edition: Las Vegas residency last year and follows 2023’s Legacy Tour and 2022’s The Culture Tour. Like those previous tours, this outing is being presented and produced by the Black Promoters Collective. What sets The New Edition Way Tour apart is that all artists will perform in an immersive, 360-degree stage format, sure to provide an exciting live experience to attendees.
This is the latest major concert production from BPC, the brilliant team who brought us The Queens Tour featuring Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Stephanie Mills and Gladys Knight earlier this year and Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is Mine Tour, which is currently underway. The Black Promoters Collective is giving the people what they want and making music moves rooted in Black excellence.
With all this star power on The New Edition Way Tour 2026, fans are clamoring for tickets. They officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 31st at 10 a.m. local time. Multiple presales are scheduled in the days leading up to Halloween, however.
On Monday, October 27th, an American Express presale begins. On Tuesday, October 28th, New Edition’s presale starts, and the password to access tickets is “WAYTOUR26.” On Wednesday, October 29th, there’ll be a Spotify presale with the access code “NE4LIFE.” The last batch of presales happens on Thursday, October 30th from the Black Promoters Collective (password: “BPC”), Boyz II Men (password: “BIIMBLVD”) and individual venues. All presales will start at 10 a.m. local time on their respective days and end on Thursday, October 30th at 11:59 p.m. local time.
