This has already been quite a year for Omar. He started 2025 with his For Your Pleasure Tour, which reunited him with his fans in the United States in January. Following sold-out shows and rave reviews, the British icon then began rolling out his brand-new album Brighter The Days with numerous singles and videos before its June release. Now that it’s July, Omar isn’t easing up as he plans to soon return stateside on his Brighter The Days U.S. Tour.
We appreciate Omar’s generosity in giving his U.S. fans another tour so soon, especially in support of such a stellar album. He will revisit some cities he went to earlier this year and hit even more this time around. Much like his For Your Pleasure Tour, the Brighter The Days U.S. Tour will take him to several City Winery locations around the country and make a few additional stops.
The tour kicks off on July 14th in Boston before making its way back to NYC, the DMV, Chicago and Atlanta, to give Omar’s loyal supporters in those areas another opportunity to see him live on stage in 2025. He also has his sights set on Pittsburgh, Dallas, St. Louis and Nashville before the tour ends on July 29th in Los Angeles, his lone show on the West Coast. For the Alexandria, Dallas and L.A. dates, he’ll be accompanied by special guest Tabi Bonney.
Speaking of guests, don’t be surprised if a few of the featured artists on Brighter The Days decide to join Omar for a piece of the action while he’s here. The stage is set for talented folks like “Research” songstress Honey Larochelle, “Lovey Dovey” collaborators Eric Roberson and Raheem DeVaughn, “Holding On To Life” duet partner Ledisi and “Love Is Like” collaborator India.Arie to show up and show out. Not that Omar needs any help in that department.
