What a time to be a Janet Jackson fan! Our queen of pop (yeah, we said it!) has been holding court quite nicely in Las Vegas as she thrills audiences with her Janet Jackson: Las Vegas residency. The superstar has performed two runs thus far — consisting of four shows this past December and January, and six in February — and she's started her third run of shows just this week. But Mother won’t be done anytime soon, as she’s just recently announced that she’s locked in for another spate of shows later this year.
Miss Jackson will be rocking with Sin City throughout September with another block of performances that will go deep into her back catalog. This six-show set will kick off on September 10th at Vegas' Resorts World Theater and continue with another five shows that will keep her going on and on until she closes things out on September 20th.
During this residency, Janet has been very giving, offering up hits like “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Feedback,” “If,” “Got ’Til It’s Gone” and “Rhythm Nation” with electrifying choreography, dazzling costumes and larger-than-life staging. She’s also been treating fans to tracks she rarely ever performs. Trust us when we say that you’ll be gagging at some of the cuts she unearths. So if you plan on attending, we recommend you fasten your seatbelts for what will surely be a breathtaking ride as she celebrates more than 50 years in the entertainment business and all the iconic moments that she’s given us since she first took control in the ’80s.
If you’re so excited like we are, then we suggest you pick up tickets for the latest dates of the Janet Jackson: Las Vegas residency when they go on sale. The pre-sale event begins on Tuesday, May 27th at 10 a.m. PT followed by an AMEX pre-sale on Wednesday, May 28th at 10 a.m. PT. After that, tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, May 30th at 10 a.m. PT.
