Jane Handcock’s latest single “Stingy” has landed the singer in heavy rotation this spring. The song is like a warm breeze after winter’s chill, and she’s heating up our playlists with her spicy tale of catching hella feelings for her sneaky link. After debuting the track with an entertaining visualizer set in a nail salon, Jane has now dropped a full music video.
In the Nobody Else-directed clip, we catch up with Handcock and her undercover lover at her spot the morning after. She’s got breakfast on deck for Mr. Tall Dark & Handsome, but to hear her tell it, she’d rather have another taste of him. Jane and the actor playing her boo have great chemistry as they flirt, hug and vibe off each other while she serenades him. Even in her solo scenes, Handcock has a glow and looks downright smitten.
Between the “Stingy” single, visualizer and official music video, Jane Handcock is being very generous and keeping fans fed. If you’re hungry for more, though, just sit tight. She’s confirmed that a new album, her first since 2023’s World Of Women, is on the way.
“In case you wondered, my album is gonna feel like this...fun, funky, refreshing,” Jane wrote on Instagram in the caption for a vibrant image of her smiling. She also wanted to clear something up for people who may have her music confused. “No, I’m not a neo-soul artist lol… I’m just an artist havin’ fun wit it all, babes,” she concluded.
