Davido just dropped his fifth album aptly titled 5ive, and he has a few songs that we’ve already added to our summer jams playlist. He even has a Song of the Summer contender with his latest single “Offa Me,” an infectious bop featuring Victoria Monét.
Victoria and Davido turn up the heat on “Offa Me.” It’s so hot that she’s ready to come out of her clothes. “I’ve been thinking I want you to come take this offa me / Come and show me what it is that you’ve got to offa me,” Vic entices on the catchy chorus that highlights the double entendre of the song title.
Davido is all in and matches her flirtatious energy on his verses. “So many things I offa you / Sweet loving I’ll give to you / So baby, come closer and take my order / May I have your body with your clothes off?” he respectfully sings.
Monét keeps her clothes on in the video for “Offa Me,” but she and the dancers find other ways to turn viewers on. With her go-to guy Sean Bankhead on choreography and director KLVDR behind the camera that revolves around the rooms in each scene, Davido and Victoria deliver an eyeful that’s both sexy and creative.
“Offa Me” is the latest Afrobeats meets R&B collab from Davido who enjoyed a massive hit with Chris Brown and Lojay on Breezy’s 2023 single “Sensational.” Davido and Brown reunite on the track “Titanium” from 5ive, which also contains features from Shenseea, Becky G and Omah Lay, to name a few.
