It’s time for Coco Jones to shine. Actually, who are we kidding? Our girl has been shining brightly for the past three years since her recording career has taken off like a rocket. Now the R&B starlet is prepping for the release of her highly anticipated debut album Why Not More? in a few weeks, and she’s basking in the glow of love on her latest single “You.”

Coco is down bad over a lover like no other in “You.” This man makes her feel all the things, and she’s not playing shy. She lets him know everything she’s feeling throughout the song.

“I wanna be living with you, we go together / Like brand-new shoes in perfect weather / Lil’ mama fine and he a dime piece / Gotta be from heaven, looking like my blessing,” Jones sings on the pre-chorus about her perfect match. She goes even deeper and sweeter on the chorus, with the lyric, “Gave me my heart and then taught me to love again.”

“You” arrives with a visualizer that gives us a voyeuristic view of Coco and her beau in their apartment. She invites us to watch their at-home date night by repeatedly opening and closing the living room drapes. We see the couple in shadow canoodling, dancing and getting very close. Right before they both move in for a kiss to seal the deal, they finally notice the camera outside of the window invading their privacy and dramatically shut the curtains.
