Kevin Ross is feeling the love. Fans have been showing him lots of it for his first single of 2025, “Love In The Middle,” which has become a hit at R&B radio and is climbing the Billboard charts. Tickets are moving for his Love Uptempo Tour presented by SiriusXM Heart & Soul, and anticipation is high for his next EP Love Uptempo, Vol. 1. As the project’s updated release date approaches, Kevin returns with another taste on the single “Back 4 More.”
Co-produced by Ross and Yaahn Hunter, Jr., “Back 4 More” reunites the pair who recently worked together on Jessica Jolia’s “Mink Coat (Remix).” Just like that jam, “Back 4 More” is an R&B bop. Over a mid-tempo groove of keys, bass and drums, Kevin seeks another kinda reunion as he looks to rekindle an old flame.
Despite having a plethora of lovers on speed dial, he’s stuck on that one who he just can’t get out of his head. “I have more than a few I like to call / But all that loving left me feeling lost,” he sings, keeping it real with himself and the woman he’s trying to win back.
Kev takes off his cool and lays it all out on the chorus. “Why can’t I, can’t I fill in the blank? / You’re one of one, that’s hard to replace / That’s why I’m back for more, I’m back for more,” he admits, ready to get things cracking and make a love connection once again. As good as he sounds, how can she say no?
It’s clear that Kevin Ross is bringing the heat on Love Uptempo, Vol. 1.
