The last time that British soul star Omar did a proper U.S. tour was in 2019. That summer he set it off from coast to coast after almost a decade away and treated his fans to a spectacular series of concerts. Thankfully, Omar isn’t leaving his stateside fanbase waiting that long to see him live on stage again. He’s hopping across the pond this month for his For Your Pleasure Tour.
Omar will keep his latest tour short and sweet with only five cities and dates on his itinerary. His first stop will be in Chicago on January 15th before heading on to Atlanta, New York City and Alexandria, VA. He’ll end this run in Philadelphia on January 21st.
Most shows on Omar’s For Your Pleasure Tour will occur at City Winery locations in the aforementioned cities. The one outlier will be his concert in the DMV, which will take place at The Birchmere. Although he won’t be hitting the West Coast on this run, he has promised that he’s coming that way after his new album drops in May.
If you’re an Omar fan in any of the cities he’s visiting or can travel to them, then you do not want to miss this tour. We caught him in Washington, D.C. in 2019, and he was marvelous as he took concertgoers on an audio trip through his soulful catalog. There’s no telling when he’ll be back to perform in these parts, so don’t sleep on seeing him now while you can.
