LION BABE has finally opened up The House Of LION BABE to the masses! The set was recently made available on all streaming services after being an exclusive release on EVEN. And now that everyone is under their groove, we’ve noticed that many are choosing favorites. One that has been on the lips of numerous fans is the jam “Mama Wanna Dance.” The vibe-y track is indeed a highlight and is the next from the set to get the visual treatment.
The “Mama Wanna Dance” video keeps things simple as it focuses on the group’s singer Jillian Hervey moving to the song’s beat. She whirls, spins, jives, pirouettes and a lot more inside New York City’s famed St. Marks Church in-the-Bowery. Jillian moves so much that, at times, it’s hard for the camera to keep up as the smokin’ hot mama glides through the space.
Miss Mama isn’t just dancing around in the video. Jillian recently appeared alongside her real-life mama Vanessa Williams for a special episode of the Tamron Hall Show that also featured Lalah Hathaway. The two sat for a spell to talk about their respective music careers and their experience on their independent journeys. They also had a lot to share about balancing motherhood and the business, as well. But the biggest moment came when the mother-daughter duo performed the track “BOP!” for the ecstatic audience. They lit up the stage with their love and energy and even left Tamron Hall herself stunned.
