The weather may be cooling down, but Eric Roberson’s hot streak continues. After dropping the singles “Here For You,” “You” and “Mask” earlier this year, he keeps his fans caught up in the newness with his latest release “Doubt (Can You Come Back Some Other Time).”

Roberson shares writing and production duties with frequent collaborators Brett “B Dubb” Baker and Zachariah “SlimKat78” McGant on “Doubt (Can You Come Back Some Other Time).” The track finds Erro personifying the word doubt and softly singing directly to his feelings of uncertainty and inadequacy.

“Doubt, can you come back some other time? / Can you come back some other time?” he implores on the first verse trying to reason with doubt. You see, Eric is in a good, productive place, and he wants to stay there. “I like where this is going, and I’m trying to keep the moment / And I was hoping you would stay out of my mind,” he continues, doing his best to kick doubt to the curb gently.

Eric shared a little insight into “Doubt (Can You Come Back Some Other Time)” when the single was released. “This song was crafted after years of studying, fighting with, and engaging in endless discussions about doubt. I have taught classes on this topic and have shared my thoughts with many of my fellow artists,” he wrote on Instagram and Facebook. “Recently, I decided to address doubt where it affects me the most. During my most challenging times this year, it has been the song I have turned to the most.”
