Darien Brockington popped out this summer with his comeback album Where Love Grows. After a 14-year hiatus between releases, his return is a welcome one, and his loyal fans are happy to have him back in rotation. D-Brock doesn’t only have new music for our listening pleasure, he’s now released his first music video from the set for the track “Show U” featuring Davian Dewayne and BeMyFiasco.
Darien and Davian appear together in the “Show U” visual sans BeMyFiasco, but they’re joined by a couple of cuties playing their love interests. We watch green screen-filmed scenes of each singer with his respective boo thang, and both relationships appear a little rocky. Dewayne, who sings the song’s first verse, is seen in a living room setting involved in a heated argument with his girl. Brockington, meanwhile, is out to lunch with his woman when they start arguing at their table before they can even order their food.
The couples eventually reconcile with each other and share some lighthearted moments as the clip progresses. In between those scenes, we see D-Brock and Davian unite to perform the song with a band on the set. Dewayne also assumes the role of a wacky director filming the video within the video while directors Dan Mercer and Hollywood Heard are the ones actually behind the camera capturing all the dramatic and feel-good vibes.
