While most watched the 2024 World Series to witness the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees duke it out, we tuned in for the musical acts. The MLB tapped a few of our faves this year, including Leslie Odom Jr. to sing the National Anthem for Game 3 and Ashanti to do the honors for Game 4. The league did their big one for Game 5, however, selecting Babyface to perform the patriotic song at Yankee Stadium.
No stranger to singing the National Anthem or performing at major sporting events, the iconic crooner stepped to the mic to do what he does best. Babyface was as cool and collected as ever as he sang his melodic rendition. His mic was on, and he sounded damn near flawless.
