Victoria Monét isn’t ready for her JAGUAR II era to end. And, quite honestly, neither are we. The GRAMMY Award-winning album has dominated R&B since its arrival in August 2023, and come October she’ll extend its reign with the release of JAGUAR II: Deluxe.
We recently learned that a deluxe edition was on its way when Victoria dropped her sexified Usher duet “SOS (Sex On Sight)” a few weeks ago. The songstress hinted at the release then, and now she’s shared additional details including the project’s release date, cover art and partial tracklist.
Monét made the official announcement via a promo video posted to her socials. In the clip, we rejoin the songstress in the movie theater where she shot the trailer for her “Alright” visual and learn that JAGUAR II: Deluxe will drop on Friday, October 4th.
A quick click through to the JAGUAR II: Deluxe pre-order/pre-save link will reveal the cover artwork featuring a striking illustration of a black jaguar emerging from a pool of black water. The new front cover mimics Victoria’s image on JAGUAR II.
The deluxe edition’s tracklist features the addition of 10 songs to the original album. The super-sized version will include “SOS (Sex On Sight)” and “We Might Even Be Falling In Love (Duet)” with Bryson Tiller, which was released by Spotify Singles on Valentine’s Day 2023. The eight other song titles haven’t been unveiled yet, but at least one of the tracks will be a second duet with Usher.
We’re sure that Victoria Monét has more surprises on the way as her JAGUAR II: Deluxe rollout continues. Fans can get ready to pounce on the album when it’s released next month.
