We don’t know about you, but we wouldn’t hesitate to allow Sunni Colón to plan our next vacation. The singer-songwriter has taken us to locales such as Brazil and the Dominican Republic over the years in a colorful array of visuals that not only showcase the beauty of the locations but the people as well. He’s back at it with the video for his recent single “TURBO.”
This time around, Sunni takes us to Thailand with the mellow song as the visit’s soundtrack. It opens with a masked Sunni and a crew floating on blue waters while wearing brightly colored masks. The masks actually end up being a motif of the video, with all of the featured locals wearing one and the artist himself only appearing without one in a few seconds of the video.
Despite the obscuring of his face, the singer isn’t afraid to show us a lot during his travels. We are along with him as he tours the land on scooters, visits monuments and shows us shots of an absolutely gorgeous temple. The clip then ends with a familiar closeup on Sunni’s back before we get a straight-on look at him as the camera pulls back to reveal the lush environment surrounding him in the song’s final moments.
