Mary J. Blige is in her thankful era. With a career that’s flourished for four decades and counting, she’s grateful to still be doing what she loves and for everyone who’s followed her along on this journey. It’s no wonder, then, that she decided to title her new album Gratitude and name her next tour The For My Fans Tour. After making the big announcement about both upcoming projects on Sherri Shepherd’s season three premiere of Sherri last week, MJB has finally unveiled the full slate of arena tour dates with special guests Ne-Yo and Mario.

Fans will get to see the Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul sing, dance, strut and Mary Bop live on stage starting in January 2025 following the release of Gratitude in November. As previously reported, The For My Fans Tour will visit a total of 27 cities in the United States and Canada, and now we know where the tour is stopping and when.

Greensboro, North Carolina is up first, with the tour starting there on January 30, 2025. Subsequent cities include Raleigh, Charlotte, New Orleans, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Baltimore and New York City. The tour will wrap on April 14, 2025 with its final show scheduled in Boston.

Of course, Queen Mary can’t wait to get this show on the road to entertain her loyal subjects. “I am so excited to kick off this tour. I have amazing fans and am so grateful for all of the love and support they have given me throughout the years,” Blige said in a statement released by Live Nation, who is producing For My Fans. “This tour is for them, and I cannot wait to be able to travel to all these cities and see everyone. I am in such a place of immense gratitude and peace at this moment, so also having the chance to release my new album Gratitude on November 15th ahead of this tour is really special to me.”

Mary will perform new material and her classics on The For My Fans Tour and so will Ne-Yo and Mario. Ne-Yo lovers can expect him to sing numerous selections from his catalog – from his very first single “Stay” to his most recent “2 Million Secrets,” which he world premiered earlier this year during his Tiny Desk Concert. Mario, meanwhile, may have just dropped his new single “Space,” but you better believe he’s going to dig in his crates to give the people what they want.

The For My Fans Tour is shaping up to be the first big R&B tour of 2025, and R&B heads can start snagging tickets and VIP packages on Tuesday, October 1st when the artist presale begins. Numerous presales will happen throughout this week, including one for Citi cardmembers through Citi Entertainment that starts on Wednesday, October 2nd at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on general sale at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, October 4th on Ticketmaster.
