Janet Jackson is making music moves even on her summer break. Weeks after completing her Together Again 2024 Tour North America dates in July and weeks before she begins her Europe and UK run of shows in September, Janet has announced that she’s returning to Las Vegas’ residency ranks later this year.
The iconic superstar will spin the strip this winter with Janet Jackson: Las Vegas. This brand-new residency is being presented by AEG Presents and will be hosted by Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. It comes five years after Jackson made her Vegas resi debut with Janet Jackson Metamorphosis: The Las Vegas Residency in 2019 at Park MGM.
Janet Jackson: Las Vegas has 10 dates on the calendar. It’s scheduled to begin as 2024 ends, with back-to-back performances on December 30th and December 31st. There will be two shows on January 3, 2025 and January 4, 2025 with the remaining six performances coming in February before the residency ends on February 15, 2025.
The legendary entertainer can’t wait for her return to Vegas. “We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week!” she wrote on Instagram. “This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can’t wait! Sending so much love ♥️ -J.”
AEG Presents is looking forward to her resi, too. “Janet Jackson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pop music,” stated Bobby Reynolds, Senior Vice President at AEG Presents Las Vegas, via press release. “We could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows. This is a residency fans won’t want to miss.”
