FLO had us at “hello” when they released their debut single “Cardboard Box” in 2022. The catchy bop started our love affair with the British trio composed of Jorja Douglas, Reneé Downer and Stella Quaresma. The talented beauties have since kept our attention with numerous singles and the EPs The Lead and 3 Of Us. After a whirlwind two years and the release of three singles this year alone, FLO is finally ready to bless their fans with what they’ve been impatiently waiting on with the announcement of their debut album Access All Areas.
To herald the forthcoming project, FLO has not only shared the clever title but also revealed the release date and bold front cover. Access All Areas will hit the streets and streamers on Friday, November 15th. The cover art features Reneé, Jorja and Stella confidently standing together dressed in stylish red and black mini dresses against a crimson background. Their outfits are made from the same fabric but the different designs reflect their individual “Fly Girl” style.
As far as the album itself, Access All Areas is described as, “A body of work imbued with FLO’s unapologetic, contagious force. Blending the rich tones and luscious melodies of R&B and soul with futuristic production, contagious hooks and candid, relatable lyricism, the project is an iconic milestone for the group.”
The ladies haven’t unveiled the complete tracklist yet, but it’s confirmed that their March single “Walk Like This” and their latest “Check” will appear on the LP. It’s unclear if their May drop “Caught Up” will make the cut, but we have our fingers crossed.
Access All Areas will drop within days of FLO completing Kehlani’s Crash World Tour and sets the stage for the group to have quite a happy holiday season. Fans can start celebrating and gift-giving now by pre-ordering Access All Areas on CD or vinyl exclusively from FLO’s merch store.
