Lucky Daye has a new project to plug and concert tickets to sell, so he’s full-on in promo mode right now. With his next set Algorithm dropping on June 28th and The Algorithm Tour commencing on July 11th, Daye pulled up to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to sing his current single “Soft.”
Fresh from performing at the first-ever Cadillac Lounge at the 2024 American Black Film Festival in Miami, Lucky jetted across country to Hollywood for his appearance the next night on Kimmel. The singer-songwriter was decked out in a bedazzled black suit that glistened under the stage lights. He was accompanied by a four-man band who played in front of two video walls that intermittently displayed abstract designs. At the front of the stage, though, Lucky had our undivided attention as he got into one of our early favorites from Algorithm.
