Monica, Victoria Monét, Shenseea & More Booked For First Blavity House Party Music Festival In Nashville

There’s another new music festival to add to your calendar! Digital media company Blavity is branching out with the Blavity House Party Music Festival making its debut in Nashville this Black Music Month. Music City will welcome the inaugural festival with a lineup that rivals long-established events.

Scheduled for Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th – with warm-up activities on Thursday, June 13th and a cool-down on Sunday, June 16th – the Blavity House Party Music Festival will showcase a diverse group of artists across genres with a concentration on R&B and hip-hop. All performances will take place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, while additional events will occur at various locations around the city.

Friday’s lineup will be headlined by rap icon Lil Wayne. Before he shuts it down, R&B sensations Dru Hill, Leon Thomas, BLXST and Ryan Leslie and America’s Got Talent standouts Sainted Trap Choir will set it off. Meanwhile, R&B legend Monica leads Saturday’s talent. Prior to her headlining set, attendees will be entertained by Jamaican dancehall diva Shenseea, South African DJ Uncle Waffles, GRAMMY-winning R&B star Victoria Monét and rappers Big Freedia and Freeway.

There’ll be DJs galore throughout the weekend to keep the music playing and vibes high. On tap are DJ Millie, Angel & Dren, DJ AMH, Big Sue, Yannick Jones, DJ NP3, DJ Prymtime and Mini Skrrt & Ruff. There’ll also be celebrity hosts doing the most Zack Fox, Bridget Kelly and Mani Millss.

In addition to all the exciting music to be heard and seen, there will be a lot more for festival attendees to get into. There’ll be a Mouse Jones comedy show, a Black-owned business marketplace, health and fitness experiences, food trucks, brunches, dinners, day parties and after parties spread out over the four days.
