D’Mile has quickly become your favorite artist’s favorite producer. He’s worked his GRAMMY Award-winning magic for Silk Sonic, H.E.R. and, most recently, Victoria Monét who took home three of the golden gramophones at this year’s GRAMMY Awards. He’s about his business of creating hits that stick like grits, but every now and then he likes to have a little fun in the studio. D’Mile has shared his latest just-for-fun creation – a mashup of Sade and Victoria Monét on “Stronger (D’Remix)” – that’s so good we now need an official collaboration.

Last year, D’Mile remixed Sade’s 1988 hit “Love Is Stronger Than Pride” and flipped it into something for the dance floor. That remix was entitled “Stronger (D’mix),” and he took the melancholy Quiet Storm staple to the house with increased BPMs, revamped instrumentation and a soulful house sound bed that complemented Sade Adu’s signature vocals.

For D’Mile’s brand-new “Stronger (D’Remix),” he remixes his remix and ups the ante with the addition of Victoria to the hypnotic house jam. Monét now sings the first verse and contributes additional vocals throughout that blend perfectly with Adu’s. This is a match made in musical heaven if there ever was one.

This remix is courtesy of D’Mile and his homies John Kercy, Bah, Osinachi Nwaneri and Mic Moody who have formed a collective named Two11Season. In recent weeks, these superfriends have begun to post their remixes on D’Mile’s Soundcloud page, and it looks like these fellas may be cooking something up – or we at least hope so.

One thing is for certain, D’Mile’s got us hooked and the only cure is more music. While we await what’s to come, get into the “Stronger (D’Remix)” with Sade and Victoria Monét and his original “Stronger (D’mix)” right here.
